Guoqing WANG is director of State Key Laboratory of Coal-based Low-Carbon Energy. He leads and manages a comprehensive portfolio of clean coal technologies. Prior to joining ENN, Dr. Wang worked on clean energy R&D at GE Gasification and Plug Power fuel cell company. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University.
Xiangsheng HOU is deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Coal-based Low-Carbon Energy. He served as project manager for one methanol plant with a capacity of 600,000 metric tonnes per annum in Shaanxi and one with a capacity of 450,000 metric tonnes per annum in Hongkong. At present, he is responsible for engineering design and construction of ENN’s catalytic coal gasification (1,500t/d) and coal hydro-gasification demo plants (400t/d).
San ZHOU received his master’s degree in chemical engineering from Tianjin University. As a senior engineer in coal gasification and engineering scale-up, he has participated in a number of national government funded R&D projects, including “Key Technologies of the innovative coal to SNG process” and "Innovative coal to clean gas technology", etc. He has been granted 70 patents to date.
Dr. Liang Zeng obtained his bachelor degree from Tsinghua University, and PhD degree from the Ohio State University, both in chemical engineering major. His research focuses on the fundamental and applied research of advanced material and intensification technology in energy and chemical industry. Dr. Zeng has published more than 40 journal papers, 4 book chapters, and filed more than 20 patents. He is currently the project manager of chemical looping gasification.
